Lacrosse picks Gulls as preseason No. 1
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team has been selected as the preseason No. 1 team in Division III men’s lacrosse by Lacrosse magazine for the 2007 season.

Last month the Sea Gulls were also selected as preseason No. 1 by Face-off Yearbook for the fourth straight year.

The Sea Gulls finished the 2006 season as National Runner-up with a 20-1 record.

Salisbury is joined by St. Mary's College (Md.) as the only Capital Athletic Conference teams represented in the preseason poll. The Seahawks are ranked No. 16.

The 2007 SU schedule features six preseason top 20 teams.

Salisbury opens up their season on Tuesday, February 13 as they travel to Arlington, Va. to face Marymount (Va.) at 3 p.m.
