Dasinger selected by Chicago Shamrox in NLL Draft
DENVER, Colo. -
Former Salisbury University lacrosse player Matt Dasinger was selected in the fourth round (47th overall) by the Chicago Shamrox of the National Lacrosse League on September 1.

The 2007 first-team All-American midfielder was also selected in the Major League Lacrosse draft as the ninth pick of the second round (19th overall) by the Rochester Rattlers in early June. Dasinger finished the '07 MLL season with one goal and two assists.

The Reisterstown, Md., native was fifth in scoring this past season for the Sea Gulls with 43 goals and 19 assists as he helped SU win its seventh NCAA Division III national championship.

Last season, the Shamrox finished in sixth place in the Eastern Division with a 6-10 record. Chicago begins its season in late December.
