Johnson finished his career with the Sea Gulls with several records in tow. He is the second leading rusher in school history with 3,216 yards; the sixth ranked passer in school history with 2,204 yards; and the tenth ranked scorer in school history with 174 total points. The Delmar, Md. native was named the Atlantic Central Football Conference Rookie of the Year in 2002 after he rushed for 1,204 yards. His rushing total as a freshman ranked No. 1 among quarterbacks in the nation. The two-time second team ACFC quarterback intends to play quarterback and wide receiver for the Dusters. Johnson's Salisbury career ended prematurely, as a torn ACL prevented him from playing in the final six games of the season.
