crack Top 10 in AFCA Poll
WACO, Texas –
The Salisbury University
football team cracked the Top 10 in the latest American Football Coaches
Association poll for the first time this year as the undefeated Sea Gulls are
ranked No. 9.
Salisbury (6-0, 2-0 ACFC) scored 13 points in the third quarter against Geneva
College last Saturday night to break a 7-7 tie and lift the maroon and gold to
its ninth consecutive victory dating back to last season.
The Sea Gulls are also up three spots to No. 12 in the D3football.com poll and
up three spots to No. 10 in Don Hansen's poll.
Atlantic Central Football Conference foe Wesley remains the only other ACFC
member ranked as the Wolverines are No. 12 in the AFCA, No. 10 in D3football.com
and No. 11 in Don Hansen's poll.
Salisbury returns to action on Saturday, October 13, as it travels to
Morrisville, N.Y., to face Morrisville State College at 1 p.m.
