Chandler earns D3football.com team of the week honors
SALISBURY, Md. - Junior defensive end Jarrell Chandler was named to the D3football.com Defensive Team of the Week after his performance last Saturday in Salisbury’s 42-12 rout of Albright College.

The Salisbury, Md., native finished the 42-12 victory with nine tackles (five solo), 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and a blocked PAT. Chandler’s tackles for loss totaled 32 yards while his team-high sack total equaled a loss of 26 yards.

Chandler was one of three defensive linemen recognized and the only player from the Atlantic Central Football Conference to garner this award.

Chandler is the first Sea Gull of the season to be named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and first since former linebacker Michael Hatcher was named in 2006.
