Field Hockey Champs Honored at State House

Head Coach Dawn Chamberlin and senior team captains Erin Budd and Melissa Webster of the field hockey team are pictured with Eastern Shore legislators who presented the team with a special proclamation for winning the 2004 NCAA national championship. The presentation was made at the start of the January 25th House of Delegates session at the State House. The full team made the trip to Annapolis and toured Government House (the Governor's official residence) following the presentation.  The Sea Gulls capped a perfect 22-0 season on November 20 with a 6-3 win over Middlebury in the national championship game, claiming their second straight NCAA title.
