It was the second time this season the Sea Gull defense has held an opponent without a shot. Catholic falls to 7-6 on the year, 3-1 in the CAC. Five different Sea Gulls put the ball in the goal, led by sophomore Tracey Lloyd with two. Lloyd scored the first goal of the game just 2:23 into the contest. Sophomore Megan Powell put SU up 2-0 with 13:33 left in the half when she took a pass from senior Melissa Webster and found the back of the box. The Gulls added a goal with 31:59 remaining in the contest when senior Erin Budd scored. Salisbury then opened the floodgates with four goals in the final 12:12. Sophomore Abby Rowe scored on a pass from Budd, then Lloyd scored her second goal of the contest with 6:06 remaining. Freshman Allie Norley scored on a pass from senior Jess Dixon with 3:39 left and sophomore Lynette Sgrignoli scored the game's final goal off a pass from junior Lauren Mathews with 2:12 remaining. Salisbury stretched its current winning streak to 22 games, second longest in school history. The Gulls out-shot the Cardinals, 24-0. Freshman Maria Ramoundos captured the win in goal for the Sea Gulls despite not recording a save. Erin Swift took the loss for the Cardinals. She had seven saves.
