Powell and Twilley named first team All-American, Lloyd second team
SALISBURY, Md. -
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the 2006 Division III All-Americans Monday and three Salisbury University players were among those honored. Senior Megan Powell and junior Danielle Twilley earned a spot on the first team while senior Tracey Lloyd was honored as a second team member.

Powell, the 2006 Capital Athletic Conference player of the year, is making her first appearance on the All-American team. The Elkton, Md. native scored 26 goals and added 11 assists this season.

Twilley, another first time All-American, scored four goals and added six assists. The Delmar, Del. native was very vital to the team’s number one ranked defense in the CAC.

Lloyd finished her 2006 campaign with four goals, seven assists and countless forced turnovers. The Delmar, Md. native was a 2005 first team All-American.

Powell, Twilley, and Lloyd were all named to the All-South Region team last week and made first team All-CAC as well.
