The Sea Gull baseball program is recognized as one of the most competitive in
the nation, with 13 overall NCAA tournament appearances, including eight
straight from 2000-2007. Salisbury registered its 13th straight 20-win campaign
in 2007 and has won at least 30 games in seven of the last eight seasons. The Gulls
have also won seven
Capital Athletic Conference championships (1995, 2000, '01, '02, '04, '06,
'07), including three straight from
2000-02. The program's recent history also
includes two appearances in the World Series (2001, '04). The Gulls
finished fourth
in the nation in 2001 and seventh in 2004.

Former Sea
Gulls continue in professional ranks
SALISBURY, Md. –
Four former Salisbury
University baseball players continued their playing days at the professional
ranks this past summer as Bryan Brainer, Greg Lasinski, Greg
Lemon and Cory Willey all competed in different leagues.
From 2001-07 Salisbury has totaled a
215-81-6 record, won five CAC
championships, made seven appearances in the NCAA postseason and advanced to two
NCAA College World Series.
