Sea Gulls ranked No. 26 by ABCA
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University baseball team finished the 2006 season ranked No. 18 by the American Baseball Coaches Association and earlier this week the ABCA announced the Sea Gulls will begin the season ranked No. 26.

Salisbury climbed as high as No. 5 in the ABCA poll last year as it finished with a school record 37 wins.

The Sea Gulls face four preseason Top 30 teams highlighted by No. 4 The College of New Jersey.

SU is the highest ranked Capital Athletic Conference team as the University of Mary Washington is ranked No. 36.

Salisbury opens up its season on Saturday, February 11, as it travels to Norfolk, Va. to face Virginia Wesleyan College. The Sea Gulls then host No. 27 Rowan University on Tuesday, February 13 for the home-opener.
