ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. –
The Salisbury University women’s basketball team snapped its three-game skid Saturday afternoon with an impressive road win, 84-80, over Capital Athletic Conference opponent St. Mary's College (Md.).

The Sea Gulls (9-5, 4-1 CAC) were led by senior Jessica Mills who totaled a game-high 26 points and eight rebounds. Junior Meghan Phillips and senior Meghan Klug contributed 24 and 17 points each, respectively.

Salisbury trailed early in the first half but went on a 12-0 run over the final 4:19 to close out the half and take a 44-33 lead into the intermission.

The Sea Gulls built a 14-point lead, their largest in the second half, but St. Mary's fought back to take a six-point lead, 58-52, at 12:38. Salisbury regained the lead one-minute later and never looked back as they went on for the four-point win.

St. Mary's (5-7, 0-5 CAC) was led by Stephanie Saint-Aubi who scored a team-high 24 points.

The Sea Gulls will next play on Wednesday, January 17, as they host Catholic University in a CAC game at the Maggs Center at 5:30 p.m.
