Sea Gulls storm back to overtake Gophers
TOWSON, Md
. - The Salisbury University men’s basketball team recorded its second straight come-from-behind Capital Athletic Conference win on Wednesday evening with a 73-67 win against Goucher College in Towson, Md.

Salisbury (6-2, 2-0 CAC) took its first lead of the game, for good, with 13:35 left in the second half off of a three-point bucket by junior Frank Gerald (19 points, eight rebounds), who shot 7-for-9 from the field and 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. SU sealed the game in the final minute with free throw attempts.

Goucher (3-4, 1-2 CAC) led the entire first half and went up by as much as 13 at one point. GC was led by James Russo who had 24 points and four rebounds.

Senior guards Ray Williams (19 points, five rebounds, two assists) and Segun Odumeru (13 points, two rebounds, three assists) both shot 6-for-11 from the field and Williams went 7-for-7 from the charity stripe.

Junior Gary Ward led the Sea Gull bench with 10 points and was perfect from the line (4-for-4).

Salisbury will be back on the road traveling to Washington D.C. at 4 p.m., Saturday, December 9, to take on CAC foe Gallaudet University.
