SALISBURY, Md. –
After a perfect week of soccer the Salisbury University men's soccer team was
rewarded with a jump in the national polls. The Sea Gulls moved up three spots
to No. 22 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Division
III poll released Tuesday, September 12.
During
the past week Salisbury (3-0-1) defeated Catholic University, 8-3, before
heading south to participate in the Esprit D-III Soccer Classic in Raleigh,

the weekend. Earlier in the week the Spartans had a 4-0 shutout against Hood
College.
York and Salisbury are ranked No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, in
the latest Division III South Region rankings.
