Jaime Julian

BFA - graphic design

Growing up in a military family, I moved around a lot. I experienced many different cultures, adapted to them, and embraced their ideas. These cultures and ideas created an eclectic sense of artistic style in my life. I learned how to be creative and inventive by combining a series of unrelated elements in a new and expressive way.

I strive to create work that draws people in and makes them want to look at it longer. To do this, I create combinations of ideas, artistic mediums, and graphic styles. My never-ending challenge is to try new things and to make each creation better than the last. I am an artist that wears many hats which, inevitably results in varied styles of works. Some of my pieces are traditional, while others are inventive and cutting-edge. Because I have such wide-ranging designs, my intent is to reach all audiences. Overall, my goal is not to create a progression of works that resemble each other, but to create works that embody who I am and how I feel.
