The San Antonia International Airport (SAT) is located 9 miles from the Menger Hotel.

San Antonio International Airport is located in Northern San Antonio, approximately eight miles or 15 minutes from the downtown area.  Loop 410 and U.S. 281 are the two highways providing access to the main entry points. SAT is a two-terminal facility and is serviced by over 15 different airlines

Driving Directions:

The following are general driving guidelines to the hotel from several different directions:

(Valet parking at the Menger Hotel is $25.00 US/day, plus 8.125% tax, subject to change/for Hotel guest only.  Various city lots around the hotel are available from $6.00 US to $20.00 US a day.)

 

From the North (i.e., from Dallas/Austin, Texas)

Follow Interstate 35 South. Take exit 141A from Commerce St toward Downtown. Turn right on E Commerce St. Take the 3^rd right onto Alamo Plaza. Take the 1^st right onto E Crockett St. Hotel will be on the right

 

From the East (i.e., from Houston, Texas)

Follow Interstate 10 West. Take exit 581 to merge onto I-410 N. Take exit 31 on the left to merge onto I-35-S/North Panam Expressway toward San Antonio. Take exist 158B to merge onto I-37 S/US-281 S toward Corpus Christi. Take exit 141A for Commerce St toward Downtown. Turn right onto E Commerce St. Take the 3^rd right onto Alamo Plaza. Take the 1^st right onto E Crockett St. Hotel will be on your right.

 

From the West (i.e., from Arizona)

Follow Interstate 10 East. Take exit 570 on the left for I-35 N toward Austin. Take exit 158 on the left toward Interstate 37/U.S. 281/Corpus Christi/Johnson City. Merge onto I-35 N. Take exit 158 toward TX-368 Loop/Broadway. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-37 S/US-281 S/Corpus Christi and merge onto I-37 S/US-281 S. Take exit 141A for Commerce St. toward Downtown. Turn right onto E Commerce St. Take the 3^rd right onto Alamo Plaza. Take the 1^st right onto E Crockett St. Hotel will be on your right.

 

From the South (i.e., from Mexico)

Follow Interstate 35 North. Take exit 155B on the left for Durango Blvd toward Downtown. Merge onto W. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. Continue onto East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard. Turn left onto S Alamo St. Continue onto Alamo Plaza. Turn right onto E Crockett St. Hotel will be on your right.
