Jennifer Truitt-Lewis ' 04
Jennifer Truitt-Lewis '04Jennifer is currently the Principal of Colonel Johnston Elementary School located at Fort Huachuca in Arizona and an adjunct faculty member at Northern New Mexico College. Jennifer was an Elementary Education major with a minor in Psychology at Salisbury University. As an undergraduate Jennifer was an outstanding student with self-imposed high academic standards, which led to her earning her undergraduate degree in three years. Her commitment to academic excellence was evident at her graduation when she was adorned with many cords representing the various academic clubs and national honor societies in which she was active, as well as one indicating she had earned the honor of Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, Jennifer started her teaching career in the Wicomico County School District. Since then, Jennifer has taken every opportunity to ensure that her goal to become a principal would eventually be realized. Jennifer went on to earn two master’s degrees in Education. The first master’s from Park University was in the discipline of Educational Law in 2008. She earned her second master’s, in Education Administration, from Arizona State University in 2014.
