Academic Advising

Program Planning

Program planning is a two week time period, during the fall and the spring semester, for students to meet with their faculty advisor.

During this meeting, the students discuss their course selections for the next semester, their long range academic plans, major, academic progress and any other concerns. At the end of this meeting, the faculty advisor activates the student’s gull-net account.  This activation allows the student to register as soon as their registration date comes up.  If the student does not meet with their advisor, they will not be able to pre- register until the “open enrollment” period.
