New & Transfer Students

Welcome to Salisbury University! 

Academic Advising Services at SU play an important role in the student growth and development.  The primary purpose of academic advising is to assist students in the development of meaningful educational plans that are compatible with their career goals. 

All students are assigned faculty advisors when they enter SU.  The faculty advisors are a tremendous resource for students, but, it is ultimately the responsibility of the students to track their academic progress towards their degree.  Students are required to schedule  appointments with advisors during the “program planning” period. 

Incoming students will be assigned an academic advisor at the start of their first semester at SU. Assigned advisors are listed in the GullNet system within your Student Center.
