Located on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore, Salisbury University is located only two hours from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia, and only 30 minutes from the ocean. That makes us an easy day trip from almost anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic. Click on the map to the right to see exactly where we are located in the region.

Salisbury is at the junction of east-west U.S. Route 50 and north-south U.S. Route 13. Salisbury University is positioned on U.S. Route 13 at the southern edge of the city of Salisbury.

Parking on Campus

Visitors can park in the lot directly adjacent to the Admissions House and the Scarborough Leadership Center on Camden Avenue. If you are visiting on a weekday, please register online for a free visitor's parking permit prior to your visit. Saturday visitors do not need a parking pass - if visiting on a weekend, please check your visit confirmation for specific event parking information.

Getting to Salisbury: By Air

By Air: It is possible to fly all the way here by landing at the Salisbury-Wicomico County Regional Airport (SBY). US Airways Express operates connecting flights to and from Philadelphia, PA and Charlotte, NC.

From the West: U.S. Route 50 passes west-east through Salisbury. It is the major route between Washington, D.C., and Ocean City, Maryland. Visitors should follow Business Route 50 (designated BUS 50) into Salisbury. Turn right onto Mill Street (first light directly after crossing drawbridge) and stay straight. The road becomes Camden Avenue. Salisbury University Admissions is located at 1200 Camden Ave.

From the East: U.S. Route 50 passes east-west through Salisbury. It is the major route between Washington, D.C., and Ocean City, Maryland. Visitors should follow Business Route 50 (designated BUS 50) into Salisbury. Turn left onto Beaglin Park Drive, which will become College Avenue. Upon reaching our campus, turn left onto Camden Avenue. Salisbury University Admissions is located at 1200 Camden Ave.

From the North: U.S. Business Route 13 passes north-south through Salisbury and runs directly next to the Salisbury University campus. Upon reaching campus, turn right onto College Avenue and then left onto Camden Avenue. Salisbury University Admissions is located at 1200 Camden Ave.

*Note: For visitors coming from the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 1 is a faster alternative through northern Delaware than Route 13.

From the South: U.S. Business Route 13 passes south-north through Salisbury and runs directly next to the Salisbury University campus. Upon reaching campus, turn left onto College Avenue and then left onto Camden Avenue. Salisbury University Admissions is located at 1200 Camden Ave.
