What brought you to SU?
What made Salisbury University stand out among the
different schools I looked at was the class size. I really
enjoyed the class sizes at my high school and was pleased to
see that SU offered a similar learning environment. This
allows the students to get to know their professors and
actively participate in classroom discussion and activities.
I was also attracted to the campus size because its not too
large or too small. Lastly, SU was one of the few schools
that offered a Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Extracurricular ActivitiesApart from doing school
work, I am so actively involved with several clubs and
organizations at SU. I am the treasurer for Student
Government Association as well as a Resident Assistant in
St. Martins Residence Hall. In addition I am also a member
of the Asian-Pacific Islander Club, the Medical Careers
Club, and Tri-Beta, the Biological Honors Society.
Faculty
The teachers at Salisbury are great!!! They really try
and help the students succeed academically. All the
professors are very personable and available. Each time I
have gone to a professor for help during his/her office
hours it has been nothing but a positive experience. Also
each student is assigned an advisor who is equally concerned
about our success and meets with us each semester to help us
pick classes to graduate on time!
