Salisbury University has three different admissions plans under which freshman applicants are considered:

Early Action is for high school seniors who submit their application and all required materials (including official SAT scores from The College Board and an official high school transcript) by December 1. Decisions are made by January 15 and a non-refundable $200 deposit is required by May 1. As a deposit is not required until May 1, Early Action is considered a "non-binding" agreement.

Regular Admission is available for students who submit all required application materials for admission (including official SAT scores from The College Board and an official high school transcript) by a recommended deadline of January 15. Candidates are notified of the admission decision by March 15. Those who are admitted have until May 1 to confirm their acceptance by submitting a non-refundable $200 deposit. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. The University reserves the right to close admissions when the projected enrollment is met.

Early Admission is an admission option for academically talented high school juniors who wish to "skip" their entire senior year. Students who are completing their junior year of high school may be considered for acceptance into the regular University program provided they present evidence of outstanding academic achievement. The requirements for admission under the Early Admission Plan include a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, commendable scores on the new SAT or ACT (an 1800 on the new SAT or a 28 on the ACT are the minimum scores considered for Early Admission), a positive recommendation from the student’s high school, and a certification of eligibility for a high school diploma. A personal interview with the SU Office of Admissions is required.
