Our office uses the FAFSA results to determine eligibility for the various need based and non-need based financial aid programs. The total amount of financial aid that a student receives is referred to as the financial aid package. The financial aid package will reflect all federal, state and university offers of aid, including scholarships, grants and loans. Since the initial financial aid package is provided several months prior to the student's enrollment, it is determined based on the following assumptions:
If you will not be enrolled full-time, you must complete the Course Load Change form.
Step One: Log in to Your GullNet Account
GullNet Original Password: If you changed your original password use your current password. If you lost or forgot your password, you can request a new one at the GullNet sign-in page by clicking on the "Forgot My Password" link and a new password will be sent to your e-mail account. If you sign-in GullNet and are alerted that your password has expired please follow the link provided to have it reset. If you have any problems accessing the GullNet contact the IT Help Desk at 410-677-5454. All other questions regarding your Financial Aid Award Notification should be directed to our office.

For information about your individual financial aid awards, click on the award name (in blue) to see a description of the award. Some awards have minimum enrollment requirements or require additional forms to complete.
Responding to Gift Aid - gift aid awards (money you do not have to repay, such as VA benefits, tuition waivers, SU academic scholarships, state scholarships, and private scholarships) are already "Accepted" for you.
Responding to Student Loans - you will have the option to Accept, Decline, or Accept for a Reduced amount the Direct Stafford Loans. The loans offered to you are the maximum amount you are eligible to borrow, so it is important that you think carefully about your expenses and accept only what you need. If you choose to reduce your loan offer, you must indicate the reduced amount in the accept box. You may not reduce your loan below $200. A response is required for this category of aid.
