Important Information
Salisbury University is committed to
helping families meet the costs associated with a university
education. However, due to the current economic
conditions, it is difficult to estimate State aid from the Maryland
Higher Education Commission (MHEC). Therefore, please note that any
State aid funding provided to students in their financial aid
packages is estimated and subject to funding availability.
If funding is reduced or discontinued, we will notify you as
soon as possible. |

Additional
Resources
Do you have knowledge of
any educational resources not listed on your On-Line
Financial Aid Notification, such as; local/hometown scholarships
you are/will be receiving,
tuition waivers, Vocational
Rehabilitation, etc.? If
so, you are required to complete
the
Additional Resources form
(PDF),
and return it to the Financial Aid Office.
Please feel free to fax the completed
form to our office at 410-543-6138.
How To
Report A Change In Course Load/Enrollment
Your initial financial aid offer was made based on the
assumption that you will attend Salisbury
University full-time. If you are an undergraduate
student (12 or more credits per semester);
if you are a graduate student,
(9 or more
credits per semester).
If you are not
intending to enroll full-time you are required to complete
the
Change in
Course Load/Enrollment form (PDF),
and return it to the
Financial Aid Office prior to aid disbursement. This
allows are office to adjust your aid based on your intended
enrollment.
If you are not
enrolled full-time on the census date of the semester (end
of drop/add), and did not inform our office, your financial
aid cost of attendance will be reduced and prorated based on
your actual enrollment at that time. Such a reduction
may result in your becoming ineligible for financial aid
that you have already received. As a result, you will
be required, per federal regulations, to repay the aid for
which you are no longer eligible. If you do not inform
our office of your intentions to be enrolled less than
full-time at time of aid disbursement your aid may be
inaccurate.
Please feel free to fax the completed
form to our office at 410-543-6138.
Satisfactory
Academic Progress (SAP)
Federal and state regulations require us
to monitor the academic progress of potential and
current financial aid recipients.
Aid recipients must comply with the Satisfactory
Academic Progress Policy or aid eligibility is
terminated.
Please fully read the
SAP policy
(PDF). (applies to both Undergraduate and Graduate
students)
