New Student Experience

We are here to ensure that your transition to University life is smooth and that your first experiences at Salisbury University are exciting. Whether it be through day-trips to Ocean City or academic sessions, we are committed to your enjoyment and success as a new SU student.

Incoming First-Year Students

We understand that while an exciting time, the transition from high school to college is often accompanied by new challenges. We have several programs to help you adjust to academic and campus life while making lasting connections and having fun.

As an incoming first-year student, you will attend Orientation 101  during the summer and Orientation 102 right before the start of the semester. These programs will provide you with valuable information, connections and experiences. Our Outdoor Programs are also available to first-year students and are designed to help you build lasting friendships, discover yourself and learn about SU, all before classes even begin.

Incoming Transfer Students

We are so glad you have chosen Salisbury University to continue your education. We are here to help you adjust to a new campus and experience all of the amazing opportunities SU has to offer.

As an incoming transfer student, you will attend both Orientation 101 and Orientation 102 where you will gain valuable information through sessions specifically geared toward transfer students.
