PRIVATE PRAXIS TUTORING STATEMENT-FOR NON-SU STUDENTS
The Center for Student Achievement Tutoring Program does not directly provide private PRAXIS tutoring for non-SU students. However, the Center doesmaintain a list of tutors who are interested in being informed of private tutoring opportunities. If you are interested a private Praxis tutor, please contact the CSA at (410) 677-4865, GUC 213, to be put in contact with a potential private tutor.
DISCLAIMER: The Department's only involvement in private tutoring arrangements is to provide contact information to interested parties. We have no involvement in, nor do we assume responsibility for, any further arrangements (regarding meeting location, schedule, payment, etc.) between the private tutor and the parties seeking private tutoring.
Please Note: The Praxis I Test is now referred to as the Praxis Core Tests. Just like the Praxis I, the Praxis Core Tests are composed of three separate sections: Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. Most students take all the tests at once (which is considerably cheaper), but the Mathematics, Reading, and Writing tests can be taken or retaken separately.
We offer tutoring for the Praxis Core Tests and have Praxis Core Test resources that can be used on-site in the CSA. We do not offer tutoring for the Praxis II, which is subject specific. For Praxis II information, ask your academic advisor or click here.
Practice tests for each of the Praxis Core Tests are no longer free; however, the Praxis website does still offer free test preparation and practice tests can be taken for around $18.00.
