 Interests: Current research centers around best practices and instructional strategies for English Language Learners in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The study of “The No Child Left Behind” legislation has created an extensive model of expectations for the ESOL Program in all school districts.  Study further looks at the classroom teacher in this paradigm shift and makes a case for systematic professional development.  In addition, further study continues on differentiated instruction and individual learning styles to meet the needs of diverse learners in the classroom setting.
