Accounting Awards Banquet
The Department of Accounting & Legal Studies at Salisbury University holds an annual Accounting Awards Banquet to honor our outstanding students for their academic achievements. By purchasing dinner tables and sponsoring various awards and scholarships, the generosity of our co-sponsors in the professional community allow us to invite a number of our best and brightest students to this auspicious event year after year. This Banquet has been supported by over 15 professional organizations and drawn over 100 attendees each year since its inception in 2015.
7th Annual Accounting Awards Banquet
The 7th Annual Accounting Awards Banquet was held at Seacrets Nite Club in Ocean City, MD. This event included a dinner with entrée choices that included roast beef, jerk chicken, and cheese tortellini as well as several appetizer options.
The Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Ken Smith, enthusiastically touted the achievements of our students and alumni with his lively banter. Scholarship sponsors and department professors were proud to present 17 scholarships valuing over $15,000 to our accounting students!
