What is a Veterinarian?
A Veterinarian cares for, and sometimes studies, animals. Their tasks range from diagnosing, treating, and preventing health problems in animals. They can work in an animal hospital, university, and even do research.
A Veterinarian has a variety of specialty areas to go into such as (but not limited to):
- Anesthesiology
- Dentistry
- Pathology
- Surgery
- Radiology
- Pharmacology
- Or they can specialize on certain species:
- Cats
- Dogs
- Livestock
- Exotics
