Actors should print, study and bring a copy of the script The King Lear Script and two copies of the completed Theatre Audition Form. Theatre majors are required, and members of the local community are invited, to participate. Auditions may require a cold reading from the script, a prepared reading from an online script, or an impromptu acting exercise. Be familiar with the play and be prepared to try. Casting is based on readings, attitude, flexibility and set body types to present a variety of character forms. Theatre callback and cast lists will be posted on the Call Board by Fulton Hall 203.

Fall 2014: Auditions for King Lear and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress will be held on August 26 and 27th, 2014. Please see this announcement for details. For further information, contact Dr. Pfeiffer .
