Objectives
:  Participants will
     1.  be able to describe and understand the essential elements of typical brain development.
     2.  be able to recognize the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional sequelae of congenital and acquired brain disorders.
     3.  be able to describe and understand the effects of brain disorders on the family system.
     4.  be able to describe the importance of family function as a mediator of outcome in children with brain disorders; and
     5.  understand the need for different intervention approaches when working with children with brain injuries.
