From Richburg, NY, Melissa Harvey obtained both her master’s
and bachelor’s degrees in vocal performance at College-Conservatory
of Music, Cincinnati. In March 2013, Harvey performed the role
of Flora in Britten’s The Turn of The Screw with the
New York City Opera. She also has performed with the Opera Company
of Philadelphia, Gotham Chamber Opera and Cincinnati Opera.

All concerts are in Holloway Hall Auditorium on the campus
of Salisbury University. All evening concerts are now at 7:30 p.m.
unless otherwise noted.
The Salisbury Symphony Orchestra is
supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency
dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the
arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic
Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance
to non-profit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities
for arts activities. The SSO is also supported by a grant from the
Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council.
