Pashion 4 Fashion Models Incorporated was established under Salisbury University's Multicultural Student Services in 2001. Every semester we produce fashion shows, which range from high fashion couture to everyday apparel. Not only do we rip the runway, we participate in numerous community service projects on and off campus. Our mission as an organization is to give women and men the opportunity to express his or herself in a fashionable and creative way down the runway.
Phi Beta Lambda is a business organization that helps students develop leadership, communication, and team skills. Members meet and network with others at the local, state, and national levels. The focus of the organization is a four-day conference in the summer, where members compete with other state winners and compete for the national title.
The Philosophical Society actively seeks to arouse on-campus passion for ideas and enthusiasm for thinking about provocative issues. It is dedicated to the proposition that learning in not equivalent to memorizing textbooks but requires asking extraordinary questions. Its regular colloquia includes an annual lecture series, informal social gatherings, and occasional trips to philosophical meetings.
POMS Dance Team is dedicated group of girls who are part of a dance team at Salisbury University. The group performs at Football & Basketball home games as well as various other performances throughout the year. The group showcases a variety of dance forms such as tap, lyrical, hip-hop and jazz and competes at the state level.
Psychology Club is open to all students, regardless of their major, who are interested in becoming involved in an academic and social organization at Salisbury University. The club is designed to facilitate students' knowledge about the field of psychology, post-graduate, and career choices in psychology. Additionally, the club assists students in gaining volunteer experience in different community service events, learning about graduate school, and meeting new friends.
