Service Projects
Letters to Child Patients at PRMC
Following the fall 2012 success of "Letters to St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital,” the incoming freshman class of spring 2013 will be writing
"Letters to Child Patients" at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. These
letters serve to uplift and give joy to in-patient children at the medical
center, showing the support and encouragement from the Salisbury
University community.
Along with this service project, students will be able to interact with
various community service agencies from Wicomico County and
surrounding areas in the spring 2013 Volunteer Fair. Students will gain a
greater understanding of what volunteerism means to Salisbury University
and why it is so important that everyone is involved in the service efforts
of the community.
