Michael Pistorio

A native of Pasadena, MD, Michael is currently completing an
undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at Salisbury
University. He studies with tenor John Wesley Wright, of the
American Spiritual Ensemble, and intermittent study with
coloratura soprano Joy Greene, of the Lyric Opera of Baltimore
and Opera AACC.
Michael has been featured in several operas, concerts,
recitals, and musical theatre performances; credits include:
the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, Don Quixote in Man
of La Mancha, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte as well as being a
featured soloist with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra singing
Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols in December 2011.
Recent accomplishments to Michael’s credit include placing 2nd
in the MD/DC National Association of Teachers of Singing
Auditions and finishing with Honors at the NATS Regional
Auditions.
