Karen Noble

Mrs. Karen M. Noble is a native of Salisbury, MD. She began her employment at the University in 1980 when it was known as "Salisbury State College." Initially she filled in for other secretaries in various departments who were out on leave but soon found herself working on a full time basis in the College Center. Early in 1981, due to her familiarity with the operation of that office, she was hired full-time as the Facilities Reservations Manager. She has seen many changes while employed at the institution, most notably the advancement in the status of the University itself from a state college to full university status. In1989 she transferred to the Department of Music where she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department. Noble works closely with the chair of the department and provides assistance as needed to the nine full-time faculty members, numerous adjunct faculty members, and, of course, the students.
