Colleen Clark, Lecturer of Music Technology,
Audio Engineering, and Ear Training began
teaching at Salisbury University in 2010.
Her education background includes a MA
degree from the Peabody Conservatory of the
Johns Hopkins University in Audio Sciences
and a BA degree from the University of Notre
Dame in Mathematics and Music
Theory/History. She studied jazz guitar with
Donald W. Savoie and jazz percussion with
Bill Nicks.
Colleen Clark has worked as a professional
musician for over ten years, performing with
a number of artists including Little Sister,
Still Life, Red Letter Day, The Channel
Surfers, MOBB, Lawrence (Scotty) Scott,
Johnny Hiland, Bill (Stix) Nicks, and Regis
Philbin. For the past ten years, she has
helped direct a Rock and Roll Summer Camp in
Rehoboth Beach, DE, which gathers young
musicians from across the mid-Atlantic
region and exposes them to the trials and
tribulations of professional musicianship.
Colleen Clark currently holds the position
of Lead Engineer at AMi-Seagull Studios in
Salisbury, MD and also works as an
independent sound technician, acoustical
consultant, and session musician. She has
engineered and produced albums for many
artists throughout the mid-Atlantic region,
including Three Words by Narissa Bond, which
was nominated for several national awards.
At Salisbury University, she teaches Music
Technology, Audio Engineering, and Ear
Training, and helps oversee the Audio
Recording Club. Colleen Clark is an
established member of an original folk trio
from Salisbury, MD, as well as an all-female
rock band from Washington D.C.
