4:30-5:30PM - Conversation with students, faculty,
Francophone friends in the community - for intermediate and
advanced levels
- The Spanish Club will meet every other week starting
on the 11th of September at 7pm in
Fireside Lounge. Tertulias
will be held once a month on Tuesdays at Plaza Tapatia,
Fiesta Mex, La Tolteca, or Las Margaritas.

"The Baltimore Consort" Renaissance
musicians perform "Cancionero! Romances, Villancicos, and
Improvisations of Spain, circa 1500." With singer Jose
Lemos (Holloway Hall, 7 pm, free).
- September 17, 2008: Hispanic
Heritage Month Festival of Foods, featuring Chilean
folksinger, guitarist and songwriter Isabel Umanzor.
(Commons Bistro, 4:30 - 7:30 pm).
- October 11, 2008:
Tastes of Spain Benefit Dinner, featuring regional Spanish
tapas, paella, and desserts. (Nabb Research Center,
tickets $50.00 per person).

Festival of Foods, featuring the music of Pugsley.
