Since 1994 faculty from Salisbury University together with colleagues from Frostburg State University and St. Ambrose University have been leading students to the CEDEI in Cuenca on the popular Intersession in Ecuador program every January for a short-term experience in the Andes. In 2003 SU again partnered with St. Ambrose University for the first Semester in the Andes program. This ongoing cultural exchange between the CEDEI and SU has led to a friendship that both institutions treasure.
