international
institution. GEM is accredited
by both AACSB and EQUIS,
the European

CITY OF GRENOBLE:
Grenoble has a population of 450,000 and the economic
importance of this city is second only to Paris. The region
is host to several U.S. companies such as Hewlett-Packard,
Caterpillar, Sun Microsystems and Becton-Dickinson. There
is a tram that runs throughout the city and is a great way
to see some of the sights. Visitors can hike up the
mountains for beautiful views of the valley below. Only
three hours southeast of Paris by high-speed train and one
hour from Geneva, Switzerland, Grenoble is the center of the
Rhone-Alps region of France. This area is well known for
its proximity to many of the great ski resorts in the Alps
and was the site of the 1968 Olympic Games.
