I am currently a junior working towards a degree in both International Studies and French. I also have a minor in European Area Studies. Although I attend school here in Maryland, I am from a small town in Missouri. As you can probably guess, I love to travel, and want to end up working abroad one day. While I am keeping my options open, I am hoping to work with the government in intelligence work, translation, diplomacy, or something along those lines.
I am even studying abroad all of this year. I will be in France for the fall semester, and Sweden for the spring. So if you have any questions about studying abroad, and how to fit that in with your Honors College requirements, don't hesitate to ask.
Besides being an ambassador, I am also part of the SU’s chapter of the Honor Society for International Studies (Sigma Iota Rho), the Honors Student Association where I served on the exec board for two years, Relay for Life, and the CADR club.
I know how hard it is to go somewhere new, so I really encourage you to take advantage of all that the Honors College has to offer. I love meeting new people, so please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you have.
