I am sophomore from Anne Arundel County and I am double major in Marketing and Political Science with a minor in Spanish. I have been heavily involved with the Honors College during my time at SU. I lived in the Freshman Honors LLC last year in Manokin Hall and I am now in the Sophomore Honors LLC in Seagull Square. I have also been involved with the Honors Student Association throughout my freshman year. This past spring, I had the privilege of presenting my freshman honors research on heroin and opioid legislation in Maryland at the 2017 Northeast Regional Honors Council Research Conference as well as the 2017 Salisbury Univeristy Student Research Conference. My other involvements here at SU include being a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, where I have had the pleasure in participating in numerous service projects and fundraisers for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. I also studied abroad this past summer for one month in Spain through the Modern Foreign Language Department. Outside of SU, I have interned for various state-level campaigns and I have recently been selected for Governor Hogan's Campaign Fellowship Program where I will be able to continue campaign work for the upcoming election cycle. I hope to eventually work in government affairs and I would not be where I am today without the numerous opportunities the Honors College has provided me in helping to reach my career goals! I look forward to sharing my experiences and serving as an Honors College Student Ambassador for the 2017-2018 year!
