 2018 NCUR Travel Grant Recipients
Three of our history majors, Samuel Stevens, Valerie Abbott and Kateria Rodriguez, have been accepted to the 2018 NCUR (National Conference on Undergraduate Research) and have been awarded travel grants. They will be presenting versions of their research papers they completed in Dr. Carayon’s Proseminar in History and Dr. Talbert’s The Emergence of a New Nation: U.S. (1789-1860) courses at the University of Central Oklahoma, where the conference will take place this April.

SU Student Selected To Serve In Peace Corps
Salisbury University history major, Cody Arigo has been selected to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer as a Secondary Education English Teacher in Kyrgyzstan.
