Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Prospect Development Associate in the Advancement Services department.
Primary Job Duties: Supports Salisbury University's fundraising and advancement efforts by identifying, researching, and managing prospects and the information related to their engagement, cultivation, and solicitation.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year direct sales or fundraising experience which may have involved phonathons, alumni relations, or special events; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills; and, experience using online databases and search engines.
General knowledge of solicitation and fundraising techniques and procedures. Skill in performing arithmetic calculations. Ability to effectively use computers and other office equipment. Determine priorities and organize work to meet deadlines. Handle confidential information and matters. Gather and summarize information using a variety of sources. Establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in research and data analysis.
This is a full-time, non-exempt State position with a full benefits package. Starting salary is $35,728 annually which is approximately $17.13 per hour.
