The Department of Management and Marketing at Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Management (Associate will be considered). This is a full time tenure track position.
Area(s) of Specialization: Strategic Management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Primary Job Duties: Teach courses in Strategic Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and other management courses at the undergraduate and MBA level while maintaining an active research agenda. We seek candidates who use effective teaching and classroom management strategies that enhance the success of diverse learners. The normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree or ABD in Strategic Management or a related discipline. If ABD, the candidate would be hired at the rank of Instructor, with the requirement that doctoral degree is completed within one year of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited university. Capable of meeting AACSB Scholarly Academic/ Academically Qualified (SA/AQ) as per the current definitions of the Perdue School of Business. Demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed management journals. Experience in teaching Strategic Management or CSR and interest in teaching international management. Prior involvement with teaching project-based courses a plus.

Candidates not attending AOM will be considered for Skype interviews following the conference. Salary is competitive for AACSB accredited public universities and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be contingent upon verification of eligibility to work in the U.S. and is expected to begin August 2018.
