Salisbury University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator, Guerrieri University Center (GUC).

Primary Job Duties: Provide assistance in the oversight of the day to day, evening and weekend operations of the Guerrieri University Center to include event/meeting coordination, building repairs, cleaning schedules, and special projects under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean of Students. Provide leadership of services and programs to effectively involve the residential, commuter, perimeter, non-traditional, and other special student populations into the life of the University. Provide oversight of Information Desk services and staffing. The major responsibility is to ensure that high quality services are provided to building constituents and operations run smoothly. Additionally, this position will assist with conduct hearings including investigations, adjudications, leading hearing boards, and serving on appeals boards.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of experience in facility operations, event planning and management is required. In addition, knowledge of university student conduct processes is highly desired.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
