Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Copy Center Supervisor.
Primary Job Duties: Supervises the operation of a major copy center with finishing and bindery services. Manages and trains staff while ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing financial and procedural efficiencies, performing billing processes, and implementing technology upgrades and systems. Ensures all deadlines are met and completed projects reflect the professional standards and branding of Salisbury University.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Bachelors degree preferred. Four years of progressively responsible experience in a copy center or print service, which involves the operation of multifunctional high-speed copiers and related equipment.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Effective supervisory and interpersonal skills necessary to efficiently manage the department and employees, while also being able to work side-by-side. Must have a strong ability to multitask under tight deadlines and provide excellent customer service. Knowledge of high-speed copy machine operation/networked digital printers (Canon, Xerox, etc.); Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and various publishing software; strong computer/copier troubleshooting and maintenance skills; general knowledge of paper weights and its appropriateness to duplicating processes, as well as understanding of the layout of materials for duplicating and publication; strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of user interfaces such as: Fiery Command Workstation, MicroPress and DigiPath. Experience with online ordering programs a plus.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Minimum starting salary is $15.29 per hour.
