The Department of Health and Sport Sciences is accepting applications for a Clinical Faculty position, beginning Fall 2013, in our Shady Grove, Rockville Maryland location. The Department houses four accredited majors. The Exercise Science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Area of Specialization: Exercise Science

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinator for Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Exercise Science program is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the USG Exercise Science program. Responsibilities include recruiting, advising and other duties necessary to manage the program. Additional responsibilities include teaching clinical exercise physiology, stress testing, and exercise prescription courses.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field. ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist and/or ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist preferred. Teaching experience preferred. Clinical experience in the field of Exercise Science required.
