Prof. Walker Joins Organizing Committee for Music and Moving Image Conference

Prof. Elsie Walker was recently appointed to the organizing committee for the Music and the Moving Image conference, to be held in New York in May 2011. The Music and Moving Image conference is the most prestigious international and annual convention devoted to the entire realm of soundtracks. Last year there were 150 submissions from all over the world and Walker's was one of the 80 chosen for the program. In addition to being in distinguished company on the 2011 MaMI conference committee, Walker is chairing a special session for it that will be focused upon teaching.
