Salisbury University has an SAT/ACT optional
admissions policy. Applicants who have earned a
cumulative weighted grade point average of a 3.50 or
higher on a 4.0 scale may choose whether or not to
submit their standardized test scores. Applicants
choosing to exclude standardized test scores must
provide a personal statement to support individual
achievements and/or experiences that may not be evident
from a review of the official high school transcripts.
Applicants should also be taking a course load that
evidences future success at the college level (Honors
and AP courses). An applicant with a weighted grade
point average of less than a 3.50 must submit their SAT
or ACT scores as part of the admissions requirements.
All applicants, regardless of Test-Optional status,
should still submit standardized test scores for
scholarship consideration.
